• To provide technical support to all Product Companies, Service Technology Centres, Customer Centres and Divisions for all products / E-Parts that have been designed by the Product Company.
• To provide support to the site for every product that has been developed through the NPI process.
• To provide support to the development of new products.

• Engineering degree or equivalent. HNC/HND may also qualify.
• Strong working knowledge in a similar role with exposure to a broad range of vacuum products.
• 3 years' experience working in a similar role
• Engineering background
• Some design experience advantageous.
• Be able to fault find down to component level and determine the root cause for failure/damage in a product.
• Solution orientated and ability to problem solve.
• Able to produce reports on the findings for feedback to customer or the technology team. Experience in producing 8D reports advantageous.
• Customer focused with strong communication skills.
• Understanding of product compliance desirable; such as product safety, environmental legislation and NRTL approvals

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within office building, climb ladders, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

This position requires occasional travel 15%, internationally and domestic, often overnight or multiple days.
