Milwaukee Recreation is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional to support the quality, compliance, and staff development efforts within Milwaukee Public Schools extensive network of before and after-school programs. This role is primarily responsible for monitoring program compliance with Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensing regulations, YoungStar Quality Rating System standards, and Wisconsin Shares requirements. Additionally, the position leads the coordination and delivery of in-person and virtual training sessions, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities for after-school program staff. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of state childcare licensing and quality assurance systems, coupled with experience designing impactful training experiences. A deep commitment to building the capacity of program staff and ensuring high-quality, enriching, and compliant after-school experiences for Milwaukees youth is essential for success in this role.
