This role will play an integral part in planning and executing events to celebrate our dedicated teammates as well as other internal/external events. Summary: The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for collaborating internally and externally with key stakeholders to plan, design, execute and measure success for a multitude of events. Responsibilities: Event Planning:Communicates a compelling vision for events and projects that generate excitement, enthusiasm, commitment and positively contribute to organizational culture. Develop and implement comprehensive event and project plans that align with overall goals. Foster a collaborative environment, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure projects remain on track and within budget by effectively managing resources, timelines and risks. Oversee all phases of projects, including planning, design, monitoring progress and implementation. Think strategically and communicate proactively to keep stakeholders informed about event progress, challenges and successes. Independently recognize areas for process improvement and work with teammates and leadership to address. Compliance and FinancialManagement: Initiate engagement with Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, Purchasing and other related areas essential to successful event and project execution. Develop and reconcile project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Establish and maintain quality control standards particularly around brand integrity. Communication: Effectively partner with Internal Communications to ensure events are appropriately communicated within the organization. Partner with Integrated Communications to share events across social media platforms. Collaboration: Leads vendors, teammates, volunteers and others toward meeting the organization's vision, mission and goals. Delegates assignments, clarifies expectations and holds others accountable for achieving results related to their area of responsibility. Encourages workforce engagement by building a commitment to excellence. External Event Coordination: Manages tickets for external events. Appropriately communicates with leadership teams regarding availability and distribution of tickets. Track and transfer tickets to leaders and teammates for each event. Respond to attendee inquiries about ticket transfers and assist with troubleshooting tickets as needed. Other InformationOther Information Education Requirements:
