Senior HR Generalist, People & Culture (CORP)

Position Summary

Precise is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Senior HR Generalist with extensive experience in strategic Talent Management and Total Rewards to join our People and Culture team. This role will serve as a key advisor to HR leadership, ensuring the effective implementation and management of employee performance, development, and engagement programs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of talent management and retention best practices, and a deep understanding of benefits administration, compensation, compliance and data analytics. We are looking for a collaborative and motivated business partner who will combine operational excellence with strategic insight to drive organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction at Precise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of People & Culture to design, implement, and continuously improve performance management, professional development, total rewards, and career progression programs in accordance with Precise's mission, goals and core values.
    • Play a critical role in supporting or managing various HR talent management projects, from planning to execution through change management, ensuring that they align with business objectives.
    • Lead the benefits administration function to include effective management of annual enrollments, benefits renewals, and broker/vendor relationships.
    • Support the design and implementation of Precise's Total Rewards and Pay for Performance compensation strategies.
    • Partner with Precise leadership to develop and implement performance management tools, career pathing frameworks, and proactive staff/leader development initiatives to build a future-ready workforce.
    • Assess current and future workforce capabilities, identifying gaps and developing solutions that drive results including organization design and effectiveness.
    • Leverage HR analytics, reports, and metrics to deliver actionable insights and inform data-driven talent decisions that align with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with corporate services teams to deliver best-in-class people solutions, ensuring HR processes are efficient, employee-centric, and aligned with organizational goals.
    • Partner with HR colleagues to innovate and elevate HR practices and programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and forward-thinking solutions.
    • Support the talent acquisition organization in managing top talent attraction and internal movement within the organization.
    • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a positive work environment.
    • Develop and share regular and recurring HR-related employee updates and program communications.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to develop dashboards and provide insights on various HR functions and strategies.
    • Leverage AI and digital tools to streamline processes, personalize learning pathways, and enhance decision-making.
  • Support leadership in fostering a culture of engagement, recognition, and belonging, ensuring all employees feel valued and supported.
    • Support the planning and execution of organizational engagement and culture activities.
    • Manage and enhance our current employee recognition programs.
    • Guide employees and managers through employee relations scenarios.
    • Maintain a pulse on organizational health, escalating risks, challenges and trends to leadership where necessary.
    • Analyze and report out on people data and trends to design and execute strategies for how we staff, onboard, develop, retain, and organize employee related programs, opportunities and offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, 3+ years in a Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner function
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR or Business
  • Experience working in government contracting and/or dynamic small business environment
  • Experience launching and managing talent programs from design to successful deployment in areas such as organization design, performance management, leadership development, employee relations, workforce planning and talent development
  • Deep understanding of benefits administration, compensation/total rewards strategy implementation, employment law and HR federal, state and local compliance regulations.
  • Ability to analyze problems and effectively provide solutions, using data-driven decision-making
  • Strong customer service orientation, a team player with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • High emotional intelligence with a collaborative, adaptable, and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Ability to build effective and trusting relationships with employees and leaders and know how to influence and empower them
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to resolution
  • Ability to work independently, produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency with ADP HRIS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvements at increasing levels of complexity and organizational maturity in an agile environment.
  • Interest in leveraging AI, automation, and data to drive talent solutions at scale.
