Our state-licensed, Gold-rated center cares for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, with additional programs supporting school-age children up to 14 during summer and holiday breaks.

What You Will Do

  • Implements lesson plans
  • Helps lead teacher complete assessments and developmental screenings
  • Maintains a caring, inclusive, classroom experience
  • Maintains a safe environment by practicing active supervision
  • Maintains a healthy learning environment by sanitizing materials
  • Creates and keeps current an account on the Ohio Professional Registry including 10 hours of Ohio Approved training annually
  • Communicates with families daily regarding their child's progress and wellbeing
  • Monitor children for illness and medical needs to prevent and respond to medical emergencies
  • Remain compliant ODJFS Child Care Licensing Rules at all times

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
