National Manager of Internal Sales

Location: West Plains, MS

We are seeking a strategic and performance-driven National Manager of Internal Sales to lead and optimize our Membership Call Center operations. This role is critical to driving internal sales success, enhancing customer experience, and supporting the broader goals of the AirMedCare Network. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience, a background in healthcare membership or insurance services, and a passion for operational excellence.

AirMedCare Network (AMCN) is part of Global Medical Response (GMR) - the largest medical transportation company in the world. AMCN delivers compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in the areas of emergency and patient relocation services in the United States. We offer unique membership programs including emergent air, Fly-U-Home and ground ambulance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Impact: The National Manager of Internal Sales will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Membership Call Center, including hiring, training, and performance management of internal sales staff.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure customer service and production standards are consistently met. Monitor turnaround times, implement process improvements, and optimize workflows to exceed performance goals.
  • Empower the Team: Conduct one-on-one coaching, team meetings, and development planning to foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
  • Manage Key Functions: Supervise electronic funds transactions, check-by-phone processing, E-FAX communications, help desk support for field sales, and data entry operations.
  • Champion Customer Experience: Promote a service-first mindset across the department, ensuring exceptional support for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Review performance metrics, set daily goals, and align team efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor staff, resolve escalations, and ensure the team has the tools and resources needed to succeed.
  • Process Optimization: Identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of management experience required; 3 years in the air medical industry preferred. 3 years previous B2C or B2B solutions field sales experience including cold calling and prospecting.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and drive results.
  • Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of emergency medical transport, preferred.
