Job Description

Empower the Next Generation. Drive Innovation for Social Good.

Are you passionate about youth development, social impact, and creating meaningful change? As a Youth Empowerment & Strategic Innovations Intern with The Allstate Foundation, you'll help bring bold ideas to life-supporting programs that inspire young changemakers and exploring innovative approaches to philanthropy.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives, collaborate with nonprofit partners, and contribute to strategic planning that shapes the future of youth empowerment and social innovation.

What You'll Do

Youth Empowerment (Approx. 80%)

  • Support planning and execution of youth-focused events like theNational Youth Service Summit.
  • Help develop and distribute resources that educate and inspire youth to make a difference in their communities.
  • Engage with nonprofit partners and youth leaders to provide ongoing support and resources.
  • Assist with logistics for initiatives such asMobile Youth Service HubsandCollege Service Grants.
  • Track and report on the impact of youth empowerment programs and grants.

Strategic Innovations (Approx. 20%)

  • Research and vet potential partners and vendors for future innovation initiatives.
  • Analyze trends in philanthropy and social impact to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Help draft concept briefs for new strategic initiatives, outlining goals, resources, and engagement strategies.
  • Support outreach and relationship-building with prospective innovation collaborators.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's (junior/senior preferred) or degree in a relevant field such as Business, Nonprofit Management, Public Policy, Social Impact, Communications, Marketing, or Data Analytics.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and passionate about solving social challenges.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated interest in youth development, community service, and driving positive change.
