Coordinate the tools, materials, and equipment for each project. Inspect, install, and repair electrical systems at power plants. Work closely with customers and subcontractors on-site, ensuring safety and efficiency in every task. Ensure safety standards are adhered to, including completing Job Safety Analysis (JSA) before starting any work. Conduct electrical tests and troubleshooting in accordance with company procedures. Keep the project manager informed with detailed daily reports on project status, challenges, and potential changes in scope. Ensure that project expenses are kept within budget and submit all necessary paperwork on time.
YOU HAVE:
Prior supervisory experience Coordinating construction jobs is preferred. Ability to attain an ASTM and ANSI/AWS 6-G MIG aluminum welding certification, U.S. passport, and forklift/man lift operator training certification. Valid driver's license with a good driving record is mandatory. 75% travel is required. Experience with extensive travel is highly preferred. You'll spend most of your time at remote power plants, often outdoors and working in various weather conditions. This is a physically active role, requiring you to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. You'll also need to be comfortable working at heights and using hand tools. Good vision is required for reading blueprints, inspecting work, and operating machinery. Ability to read tape measurements, blueprints, and electrical schematics. Hands-on skills, such as MIG welding or equipment operation, are a plus but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
