Job Title - Student Intern, Structural
Location - Denver, CO
Job Type - Onsite

The Student Intern will be participating in structural analysis, design, and drawing preparation for buildings, platforms, foundations, and miscellaneous industrial structures. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and willing to learn with a committed interest in structures. Primary duties will include working with our structural engineers to solve engineering problems and produce high quality design documents, plans, specifications and estimates.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Understanding engineering drawings and specifications
  • Performing and checking engineering calculations
  • Checking drawings
  • Assisting in field site visits of existing and proposed structures, including active construction sites
  • Performing quantity calculations and take-offs
  • Gaining familiarity with structural engineering software
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled and Actively pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Must be at least a college junior
  • Possess experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Requires previous course work in structural engineering, concrete, and steel structures
  • Solid writing and communication skills
  • Previous experience with Revit, AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation is preferred, but not required
