About the Role:

The Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and coordination of clinical services within our healthcare facilities located at SPM HQ and S HQ. This position is responsible for overseeing patient safety protocols, managing clinical staff schedules, and facilitating effective communication between multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes. The Clinical Coordinator will also lead clinical research initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation standards. By integrating clinical assessments and managed care principles, the role supports continuous quality improvement and enhances the delivery of pediatric and adult healthcare services. Ultimately, the Clinical Coordinator ensures that clinical operations align with organizational goals while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related clinical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical coordination or nursing role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of patient safety standards, clinical assessments, and medical terminology.
  • Experience with clinical documentation and healthcare regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with pediatrics and managed care principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Clinical Research.
  • Certification in Clinical Research or Patient Safety (e.g., CCRC, CPPS).
  • Experience working in a multi-site healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical data management tools.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily clinical operations and manage workflow to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
  • Implement and monitor patient safety protocols and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare management to optimize clinical assessments and documentation.
  • Support and oversee clinical research projects, ensuring adherence to study protocols and ethical standards.
  • Facilitate communication between clinical teams, managed care providers, and administrative staff to enhance service coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and medical terminology usage across departments.
  • Provide training and guidance to clinical staff on best practices in pediatrics and managed care.
  • Analyze clinical data to identify areas for improvement and support quality assurance initiatives.
