DESCRIPTION OF WORK

With supervisor oversight, this position performs an internal review and risk assessment of reports and other documents prepared by contracted consulting firms to ensure compliance with Program standards and requirements. This includes the review of project files, payment requests and cost documentation to determine matters pertinent to payment request review. Work involves conducting close-out audits which adhere to RACP policies and procedures resulting in the execution of a reasonable audit plan and uniform and consistent audit program. You will be expected to adhere to new or revised RACP auditing policies, standards, directives, circulars and manuals. This professional contributes to communications with other Commonwealth of Pennsylvania organizations which result in the coordination of RACP close-out audit policy, practices, initiatives, and problem resolution processes. You will have the opportunity to effectively communicate with bureau staff, consultants, grantees, and subgrantees to ensure all internal controls, timelines and policies are being met. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time with occasional in-office days when work dictates such requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program Associate(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of professional experience in community or economic development, project management, urban planning, public finance or economics; and a bachelor's degree in community or economic development, public administration, business administration or related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes two years of professional experience in community or economic development, project management, urban planning, public finance or economics.
