The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our Bioanalytical and Translational Sciences group at RICP. In this hands-on role you will be working across therapeutic and disease areas in supporting various bioanalytical assays needed for the advancement of our pipeline across various therapeutic and disease areas from early research/discovery to the IND-enabling stage.

In this role you will be performing various bioanalytical assays in support of in vivo studies and will be independently testing preclinical study samples, analyzing experimental data, and preparing technical documents.

You will participate in developing new research-based assays and optimizing existing assays using in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques with minimal guidance. Additionally, you will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized lab environment by handling routine duties including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and ordering supplies.

Who You Are

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

Required Experience

A minimum of 3-5 years of laboratory experience in an industrial setting.

Required Skills

Ideal applicants should have extensive technical experience:

  • Performing immunoassays (such as tissue culture, neutralizing antibody assay, LBA/ ECL, and enzymatic activity).

  • Utilizing analytical tools (such as SoftMax Pro, Gen5, and Prism).

  • Designing, executing, analyzing, and troubleshooting experiments for resolving technical issues.

  • Strong knowledge of method development for various immunoassays and extensive experience with cell culture/ cell-based assays preferred.

  • Previous experience with AAV vectors, automation, DNA/RNA/protein extraction and PCR assays is preferred.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Pennsylvania is $72,900.00 - $115,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
