Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Intern

We are seeking a highly-motivated intern to join our Geotechnical Engineering Discipline in our Mays Landing, NJ office.

• Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects.
• Read and review project drawings and plans.
• Use Geosystems and ArcGIS Pro software under the direction of Engineers.
• Observe project sites and evaluate contractors' work to detect problems with a design.
• Prepare reports and document project activities and data.
• Prepare analyses from collected data.
• Set up and help maintain project files and records.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or a related field.
• Interest in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Must have reliable transportation to the office and project sites.
• Basic understanding of ArcGIS or AutoCAD preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess solid problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $16-$20 per hour (depending on qualifications)
