Data Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst for a 6 month contract role with our healthcare client in Eden Prairie, MN. This role is 100% remote

Description:

We are seeking a contractor to support the exploration of new data sources, with a primary emphasis on medical claims. This role will contribute to the iterative development of a consolidated dataset by identifying emerging attributes of interest and applying domain-informed interpretation to curate data for evolving business needs. This is a dynamic opportunity to help shape how data is interpreted and leveraged to drive business insights.

Required Skills:

1) Proficiency in writing SQL queries in Snowflake and Databricks

2) Experience working within an Agile Scrum team, including inheriting and enhancing existing data models

3) Preferred experience with client's Unified Data Warehouse (UDW) or other sources of medical claims data

4) Understanding of HIPAA or other healthcare data compliance standards, especially when handling medical claims data

5) Comfortable working in Agile Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, and collaborating with data engineers, data architects, business capability owners, and application-specific technology SMEs

6) Experience implementing data validation, lineage tracking, and governance practices

Desired Skills:

UDW experience and Medical Claims Data experience

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay: $50.00 to $55.00/hour

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
