Job Summary

The Leadership & Talent Development Manager will play a pivotal role in designing, coordinating, and supporting leadership development programs and broader learning initiatives across the organization. This role will contribute to talent management strategies, support knowledge and learning management efforts, and help foster a culture of continuous learning aligned with the Sorenson Way and organizational strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Design and coordinate leadership development programs for all levels (frontline, mid-level, senior) in alignment with company values and strategic goals
  • Utilize various data and feedback (internal stakeholders, engagement survey feedback, performance review data, etc.) to generate gap analysis to drive learning needs
  • Support the implementation and adoption of learning platforms
  • Assist in the development and execution of succession planning and career pathing strategies
  • Contribute to knowledge management efforts
  • Partner with HR and department leads to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with performance management and engagement strategies
  • Track and report on program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative metrics
  • Other tasks as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

Minimum



  • 4 Year/Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development



Experience

Minimum Years of Experience



  • 5 years of experience in leadership/talent development, instructional design, or talent management including program development and facilitation



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Experience in learning measurement tools and gap analysis
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities (fluency in ASL is a plus)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using LMS platforms
  • Experience working in an Agile work environment preferred
  • Familiarity with training development tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Evolve) is a plus
  • Familiarity with knowledge management practices is a plus
  • Experience in a technology-based organization is a plus



Working Conditions and Physical Requirements



  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Punctual and reliable attendance.
