Description Acara Solutions is looking for an onsite Program Support Specialist for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Program Support Specialist to support
recruitment programs and initiatives aimed at building talent pipelines through community colleges and K-12 schools. This role involves planning and managing the implementation of outreach events, fostering relationships with academic institutions, tracking program analytics, and overseeing program budgets. Funded by the CHIPS Act, this position plays a critical role in supporting workforce development initiatives that foster an ongoing advancement for careers in the semiconductor industry. Key Responsibilities:
* Program Coordination: Assist in the design, implementation, and management of recruitment programs targeting community colleges and K-12 schools, with a focus on technology and semiconductor-related pathways. * Event Management: Coordinate outreach events such as community college career fairs, industry workshops, classroom presentations, and school visits; ensuring all logistics are executed seamlessly. Tracking all events in collaboration with other TAD colleagues as part of the larger outreach strategy. * Institutional Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with community colleges, K-12 schools, and related organizations to promote recruitment programs and strengthen educational collaborations. * Budget Management: Oversee program budgets funded by the CHIPS Act, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to funding guidelines. Track expenses, process reimbursements, and provide regular budget reports to stakeholders. * Candidate Engagement: Develop and implement communication strategies to engage students and prospective candidates, including creating outreach materials, presentations, and follow-up correspondence. * Data Analytics: Monitor program performance by tracking metrics such as event attendance, application rates, and program outcomes. Use analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives and recommend ongoing improvements. * Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on program performance, budgets, and event outcomes, presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders for continuous improvement. * Collaboration: Work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, strategic partners, academic institutions, partners, and CHIPS Act program administrators to align recruitment goals with workforce development priorities. * Recruiting: Work closely with recruiters to understand the scope and spec required for each role and increase pipeline of candidates to be hired supporting 50% of the hiring demands. * Campus Recruitment Strategy: Develop and execute strategic campus recruitment plans to achieve hiring goals for recent graduates and interns Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration,
Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). * Strong organizational and event-planning skills with the ability to manage budgets and deadlines effectively, project management experience, highly preferred. * Experience working with community colleges and/or K-12 schools is highly desirable. * Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or similar). * Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other recruitment platforms is a plus. * Prior experience in recruitment, program development and execution, or budget management is preferred. * Ability and proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and interests toward company goals. * Experience working in the education industry, preferred Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
