Plasma Operator 1st Shift

The Production Technician II operates equipment in the production of the Campbell Chain brand of product. Work schedule is 1st shift, working 4 days a week and 10 hours a day from 6 AM to 4 PM daily Monday through Thursday.

• Operate machines to manufacture chain.
• Proficiently operate the required number of machines for the designated work area.
• Make proper adjustments to ensure machines operate efficiently and maintain high quality, including using hand tools, gauges, and visual checks.
• Cross-trained to operate numerous pieces of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment when required.
• Move material to and from work area.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product, including reporting non-conforming materials.
• Report unusual conditions or questionable items to team lead or supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain accurate records as required.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by team lead or supervisor.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of similar work experience.
• Mechanical abilities and aptitude required.
• Work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week) including Fridays.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch continuously.
• Climb stairs and ladders.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
