Genesis10 is currently looking for a Project Manager with Utility/Energy industry for an EMS upgrade project for a 12 month project for a Utility Client. Must be able to go on site 3 days week in Minneapolis MN or Denver CO.

Role Overview
The Project Manager will support the EMS Upgrade project, reporting to the Program Manager. This initiative involves upgrading Client's PowerOn Reliance Transmission SCADA solution from R2019 to R2025, with deployment across three regional data centers serving 13 control centers and 300-350 end users.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and integrate project plans across 15 workstreams using Microsoft Project.
* Maintain consolidated workplans and manage dependencies.
* Collect and consolidate weekly status reports.
* Facilitate and track deliverable approvals.
* Maintain resource capacity planning and SharePoint calendars.
Required Skills and Experience
* Minimum 5 years of project management experience with complex, multi-year system implementations.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and SharePoint.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage diverse work styles and follow software lifecycle and compliance tasks.
* Experience with visual representation of project information.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the utility or energy industry.
* Familiarity with real-time Operational Technology solutions in a 24x7 environment.
* Exposure to systems such as Client PowerOn Reliance, Schneider Electric, ABB, OSI/Aspen Tech, and Aviva.
Additional Notes
* Candidates should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, including task creation, dependency management, and resource leveling.
* Agile experience is acceptable, but waterfall experience is more aligned with the role's requirements.
* Strong communication skills are critical, especially for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
* Educational background and certifications (e.g., PMP) are not mandatory if the candidate demonstrates the required skills.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay: $75.00 to $85.00/hour
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
