The Global Sanctions Analyst is responsible for administering the Bank's OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) program with regard to screening and reporting of designated individuals, businesses, and domestic and international transactions. Job Description
The Global Sanctions Analyst is responsible for administering the Bank's OFAC program with regard to screening and reporting of designated clients and transactions. Analyst will review customers, accounts and individual transactions for potential matches to individuals, entities, or countries that are subject to US Sanctions or appear on other lists of importance. This position is critical for protecting the company's reputation by ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the USA PATRIOT Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and FinCEN regulations. Education & Experience Requirements
Required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associates' degree and two to three years of related work experience at a financial institution or equivalent work experience of 4-5 years. Experience in bank operations is preferred.A minimum of two hours of continuing education is required each month on industry-related topics or technical skills related to the role.
