As an HR Business Process and Systems Specialist, you'll be the bridge between HR and IT, ensuring seamless functionality and data integrity within their HR technology platform. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of HR data and processes, acting as a liaison between HR and IT. You'll play a key role in optimizing the HR technology platform and ensuring smooth data flow. This includes defining, testing, and implementing system enhancements to keep pace with evolving business needs. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. Specifically, you will:
- Ensure data integrity within the HR technology platform, including the HR Data Warehouse
- Act as a liaison between HR and IT to ensure proper functionality of applications and data process flows
- Define, test, and implement enhancements to HR processes and technologies
- Provide support for Workday business processes, including mass uploads and maintenance of Macro/Visual Basic tools
- Collaborate with global colleagues to plan, develop, implement, maintain, and audit Identity Systems and integrations
- Advise the HR organization on streamlining operations, developing new solutions, and enhancing existing programs
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the control and integrity of HR data and operational activities
- Translate business needs into process and technical solutions
- Coordinate between business customers and IT, as well as global colleagues
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources Information Technology Management (HRIS, HRIT, or HRTMS) or HR Partner roles
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, including Macro and Visual Basic coding
- Experience with HRIS systems, including Workday and PeopleSoft
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with Identity Management applications
- Experience with ad-hoc reporting software
Nice-to-Haves:
- Educational concentration in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with ad-hoc reporting tools such as Cognos
- Strong desire to learn and explore new possibilities with existing programs and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues to all levels of the organization
- Change advocacy/consulting skills, including the ability to implement change effectively and seek out best practices
- Strong reporting and analytical skills to support data-driven decisions
- Proven track record in project management
- Broad HR technical expertise and systems knowledge, including working knowledge of HR functional areas
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
