Summary

Manage demand planning and forecasting across all appliance categories for our Best Buy channel. Will collaborate with customer and internal stakeholders to lead CPFR (collaborative planning and forecasting) meetings to drive accurate forecasts and to manage healthy levels of pipeline inventory. Will help support sales growth by maximizing sales opportunity through maximizing inventory availability across all customer warehouses. Will be responsible for ensuring high levels of on time delivery and reduced compliance cost. Will work cross functionally to maximize direct shipment from factory and to help implement fulfillment strategies to manage logistics costs.

Responsibilities



  • Lead CPFR meetings to generate and align forecasts with Best Buy.
  • Review Forecasts internally weekly with all stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly dashboard meetings to monitor and share key performance indicators to help identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Root cause issues driving misses to our KPIs and develop action plans to correct. As an example, if our forecasting accuracy is low, this role will check which models are driving the miss and address future forecasts accordingly.
  • Manage forecasts, identify potential risks, and help to drive sales growth for Best Buy.
  • Maximize direct shipments for Best Buy.
  • Responsible for Best Buy forecasting and ordering which will impact production and inbounds from global factory subsidiaries.
  • Develop excel tools to better manage customer warehouse level inventory.
  • Help with implementing new technologies such as machine learning forecasting.
  • Monitor key KPIs to identify potential risks and think of ways to improve our performance. For example, if our direct ship rate is low, this role would be encouraged to find ways to increase our direct rate through creative means, such as reducing ship to locations or increased container mixing, etc.
  • Daily communication with customer and internal stakeholders to address day to day issues, weekly collaborative forecasting meetings, participate in quarterly in-person meetings business review with customer.
  • Negotiate with customer as well as internal stakeholders to drive and implement process improvements.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience in SCM or related field
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain, demand planning, and inventory management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines to meet deliverables and partner expectations
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence using data
  • Demonstrated success in taking initiative and multi-tasking in a high pressure environment
  • Strong relationship builder able to work within cross functional teams
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Solid business acumen
  • APICs certification preferred but not required


Recruiting Range
$90,000 - $100,000 USD
