Position Overview


Position Summary
Winston-Salem State University is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Scheduling and Catalog Coordinator to join the Office of the Registrar. This pivotal role is responsible for managing the University's course catalog, academic scheduling, summer school operations, and online course coordination. The position supports institutional compliance with University of North Carolina System policies, SACSCOC accreditation standards, and other governing bodies, while enhancing operational efficiency and academic service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Course Catalog Management: Create, edit, and maintain course information in Ellucian Banner; collaborate with departments to ensure catalog accuracy and compliance.

  • Academic Scheduling: Oversee semester course schedules and classroom assignments using Ellucian Banner and CollegeNet 25Live; facilitate training for academic departments.

  • Summer School Coordination: Manage summer school scheduling, faculty assignments, and payroll processes; coordinate with academic units to optimize offerings.

  • UNC Online Portal Oversight: Administer course scheduling, registration, grade submissions, and course transfers through the UNC Online system.

  • Academic Calendar Management: Maintain the University's academic calendar in 25Live and coordinate updates across units.

  • Project Administration: Serve as a liaison across academic departments, produce analytical reports, and assist with UNC Student Data Mart reporting.

  • Compliance & Consultation: Ensure adherence to policy and accreditation standards; represent the Registrar's Office on academic committees and advise on scheduling and course-related matters.
