Leads the design, integration, and execution of tactical initiatives aligned with the Health System's strategic end-user computing goals. Oversees the engineering, availability, and integrity of the Medical Center's core end-user computing environment, including all devices, operating systems, application platforms, and management tools essential for accessing and using core Medical Center systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage engineering for desktop computing infrastructure, including PCs, laptops, tablets, application servers, endpoint management systems, and core end-user software. Direct a large-scale Citrix application virtualization environment and integration with endpoint and mobile platforms Coordinate multiple systems engineering teams and cross-functional project groups. Serve as an advocate and subject matter expert for patient care providers, the Service Desk, field technicians, affiliated departments, and Medical Center leadership. Assist in setting strategic direction and ensure engineering team efforts align with organizational priorities. Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive end-user computing solutions, including application deployment, application updates, and security updates. Implement technical controls to ensure alignment with organizational Security policies, working to align with best standards. Ensure compliance with established service levels, standards, policies, and procedures. Model effective communication, collaboration, and customer service skills. Drive innovation and organizational change to improve service quality and operational efficiency. Develop and mentor team members, fostering both technical capability and sustainable work-life balance. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required. Experience: 5 years of experience required. Licensure: None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
