The Department of Health Sciences at Rutgers University-Camden Campus invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to start in Fall 2026. Candidates should have research expertise in health sciences and have a PhD or comparable degree currently or by the start date. Applicants may have a disciplinary affiliation with public health, psychology, public policy, sociology, neurobiological science, health economics, or other related fields.
Teaching responsibilities include courses in the undergraduate Health Sciences major and the graduate program in Prevention Science. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach graduate-level methodology and statistics classes in Prevention Science. In addition, the candidate will have opportunities to teach classes in their area of expertise at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates are also expected to mentor doctoral students in Prevention Science. The teaching load for research active faculty is 2-2, and salaries and benefits are competitive. |
