The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. |

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Associate Athletic Director - Revenue and Contract Management for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position reports to the Executive Deputy Athletic Director, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Operating Officer. The individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the back-end processes of the House Settlement (Rev Share) institutional
NIL agreements within the department.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Develops cap management structures that are needed to manage the NIL process.
- Creates systems to track all payments and timelines.
- Provides model for short- and long-term financial projections for( $20.5 million revshare).
- Reviews NIL deals into the NIL Clearinghouse for approval and tracking for determination of potential cap penalties.
- Works directly with sport specific staff and compliance and general counsel liaison to communicate House settlement and Cap Management processes.
- Oversees the distribution and administration of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) contracts, including the review and dissemination of payments.
- Coordinates with coaches and sport-specific staff to ensure proper submission and processing of NIL agreements.
- Manages the cap management software, ensure compliance with allocated funds, and model short- and long-term institutional NIL projections for coaches.
- Serves as the Athletics liaison to the Office of General Counsel on legal matters involving the Athletics Department and SAMCO, while monitoring evolving federal and state legislation affecting NIL and student-athlete compensation.
- Executes required Big Ten Conference and clearinghouse reporting, may provide game-day support for various athletic events, and will perform other duties as assigned.
- Represents Rutgers Athletics in efforts and initiatives involving player management and key business partners, as well as with intercollegiate athletics organizations such as the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Big Ten Conference (B1G), and other governing bodies of intercollegiate athletics and player management.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree preferably in finance, economics, business administration, sports management, or a related field required.
- A minimum of seven years of progressive experience in a sports-related field.

- A deep understanding of best practices in revenue sharing and NIL management within collegiate athletics is essential.
- Strong computer skills and related software capabilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail required.
- Demonstrate organizational, project management, problem-solving and financial management skills.
- Ability to influence and build work relationships among stakeholders at all levels necessary.
- Ability to communicate and adhere to University, Big Ten Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
- Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products.
