We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position ofWell Performance Specialist - Production within our Onshore Resources & Carbon Management EOR SubSurface asset based in Denver City, Texas. Essential Job Duties: * Provide surveillance and optimization for producing well (beam, ESP, flow/plunger) performance * Responsible for day-to-day well operations * Identify/work producing well exceptions * RT/cycle deviations (zero/very high cycles) * Shut in and start wells * Hot watering, chemical treatments, rigless jobs, etc. * Coordinate well failure activities * Identify, validate, and react to well failures * Communicate with PFA on well issues as appropriate * Execute displacement changes (SL, SPM) * Operate and coordinate maintenance of POCs * Resolve well and hardware alarms * Responsible for accurate and timely well tests and downtime * Validate tests & troubleshoot variances * Coordinate resolution of problems with PFAs * Identify Production Opportunities via well variances * Participate in operational planning meetings; provide input during well and pattern reviews; attend integrated solutions meetings; interact with engineers. * Direct Surveillance Team WPS point of contact for CRO's * Surface DT Tracking: Keep up with the status of all surface related DT (Facility and wells) * Variance/Surface DT Reporting: Work with the CRO to gather production exceptions and send out variance report along with full summary of surface related DT (Facility and wells) * Starting and stopping wells as surface facility issues occur/resolve * Work Closely with CRO's to optimize and bring on as much constrained production as possible * Monitors Plant Inlet for full capacity and production opportunities & communicate w/ plant CR * Verify with CRO's that there are working plans in place to try and reduce/mitigate surface facility DT due to constraints * Work with CRO/ Production- Injection WPS on injection related issues leaks, injection pressures water/CO2, optimize water tank levels, injection pump rate * Communicate & work with Production / Injection WPs on reactive issues * Send out communication email to all WSA Leads on major deviation for oil - water - gas * Major Outage / Planned Work update Education: * High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience * 4 Year Collegiate Technical degree preferred * 2 years of college with a math/science focus preferred Experience: * 3 or more years of Oilfield Surface Production preferred * 2+ years producing well surveillance/optimization Professional and Technical Knowledge/Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications: * Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills * Excellent interpretation knowledge of production plots * Interpretation of Dynamometer cards and ESP pump curves * Well volume calculations * General knowledge of regulatory compliance * Strong mathematical skills * Excellent organizational skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel and Power Points skills * Knowledge of EVIN, Graphworx, OFM * Team player with strong interpersonal skills * Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet the objectives of the job and the team Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation It has come to our attention various individuals and/or organizations are contacting people falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Oxy.
