This Position reports to:

Service Manager - EESCO

This role is U.S. based. As our Project Specialist, you will have the opportunity to coordinate assigned aspects of our services division. Each day, you will support in managing and executing the project by completing administrative tasks within assigned workflows. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project planning techniques on ongoing projects and driving the updating process.

Your Responsibilities:

Scheduling

  • Contacting and coordinating utility outages
  • Coordinating inspection permits with local AHJs with ABB Master Electricians
  • Scheduling work that has been sold to accommodate customer needs
  • Managing the technicians' schedules, planning for pre-job walkthroughs, performing the work onsite, time for follow-up reports, as well as vacation, training, and sick time
  • Acquiring equipment needed for projects, whether purchasing or renting, and establishing the POs required
  • Staying up to date on technicians' qualifications and trainings to make sure they remain compliant and updated on ABB product knowledge and procedures

Customer Relations

  • Establishing a good rapport with the customers, tracking the work performed, and ensuring finished reports are delivered in a timely manner

Timekeeping

  • Maintaining employee timesheets that are accurate and updated and turned in on time, ensuring everyone gets paid appropriately

Tools and Equipment

  • Tracking and maintaining all equipment and tools to be in proper working condition and calibrations updated.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained and operated

AP and AR Coordination

  • Working with AP and AR to stay on top of creating and receipting POs, authorizing invoicing to be paid to vendors and received from customers, and troubleshooting any issues or inconsistencies
  • Schedule flexibility as some work managed will be on weekends and nights
  • Limited travel to customer sites (as needed)

Your Background:

  • Strong customer service skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable with electrical/mechanical service discussions or willing to learn.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience coordinating field services and managing remote teams.
  • High school diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years in customer service, account management, or project support.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments and provide after-hours support.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $57,400 and $75,000 annually.
