Middleton, WI (Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite)

At Fiskars Group, we've spent over 375 years designing timeless tools and products that make everyday moments extraordinary. From the iconic orange-handled scissors to premium gardening, cooking, and crafting brands, we're driven by innovation, heritage, and purpose. Now, we're looking for a Business Controller to join our Middleton, WI team and play a key role in shaping the future of our business through financial insight and cross-functional collaboration.

Your Role

As a Business Controller/Finance Manager, you'll serve as a true finance business partner-driving profit optimization, pricing accuracy, and data integrity across Sales, Product, Operations, and Supply Chain. You'll translate numbers into strategy, turning analysis into action that supports growth, efficiency, and long-term success.

This is a dynamic, hybrid role (3 days onsite) where you'll make an impact across the entire value chain-from customer profitability to supply chain efficiency.

What You'll Do

Commercial Finance & Customer Programs

  • Partner with Sales and Channel teams to analyze and develop customer programs that grow both revenue and margin.
  • Build customer-level P&Ls, manage trade accruals, and provide clear visibility into performance and opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate product cost data is embedded into pricing and profitability analyses.

Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Support forecasting and planning with actionable, data-driven insights.
  • Create and present monthly reporting packages and executive business reviews.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive end-to-end visibility through innovative, flow-oriented reporting.

Pricing Strategy & Product Support

  • Lead pricing analysis and provide recommendations for Fiskars Americas and Gerber global portfolios.
  • Support portfolio optimization, margin analysis, and scenario modeling using tools like Excel and Tableau.
  • Enhance pricing logic and support SAP transformation projects to improve reporting and decision-making.

Supply Chain Finance & Operational Efficiency

  • Partner with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support product costing, value engineering, and supply network optimization through financial analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Drive initiatives to improve distribution and warehousing efficiency.

Who You Are

  • You bring a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience-ideally in a commercial finance or controlling role.
  • You're fluent in the language of both finance and business, with experience in pricing, margin, and cost analysis.
  • You thrive in a cross-functional environment and can navigate complex data with tools like SAP / SAP-BW, HFM, or Tableau.
  • You're collaborative, analytical, and naturally curious-someone who seeks not just to report on numbers but to understand the story behind them.
