Job description

Position Purpose: Performs duties which both provide and ensure the provision of work in accordance with the Statement of Work incorporated into the contract between VersAbility and the US Government.
Primary Duties:
*Responsible for operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
*Responsible for obtaining all appropriate supplies and equipment (provided) necessary to perform all duties.
*Responsible for performing general duties, such as, but not limited to: equipment monitoring/prompting, frame assembly, fining pad application, fining pad removal, washing lenses, unblocking lenses, block washing, block storage, unboxing, bagging, clean-up and mail room packaging of finished eyewear.
*Responsible for cleaning equipment as instructed by the Contract Supervisor or the designated Shift Leader.
*Responsible for maintaining quality standards as determined by the Government Quality Assurance Evaluator.
*Responsible for maintaining a safe work area.
*Responsible for promoting and maintaining positive lines of communication with various Government personnel while performing all assigned job duties.
*Responsible for providing quality customer service.
*Responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures as set forth by VersAbility Resources and the U.S. Government.
Qualifications/Skills Knowledge & Abilities:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Experience with Microsoft suite. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work well with others and accept challenges. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
