The Position
As a key member of the Population Science Team, you will lead efforts to shape and operationalize Roche/Genentech's cross-portfolio population science strategy, ensuring that clinical research is informed by data-driven insights and representative of the populations most impacted by disease. This role is central to embedding population science principles across the enterprise-establishing standards, strengthening scientific influence, and enabling inclusive research practices that maximize patient impact. Working on cross-functional teams and influencing decision makers will be critical to the success of this role along with ability to efficiently sense, iterate, and adapt current recommendations, approaches, and strategies. This role will be a core member of the population science team which defines the strategy for population science and optimizing outcomes for the global Roche organization. The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with experience in strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, population sciences, and policy engagement, as well as a strong commitment to advancing equity through science. If you are passionate about driving impactful research that represents all populations and improves patient outcomes globally, this is the opportunity for you! This position will be located in South San Francisco or Basel site. Expectation of ongoing and sustained campus presence at the site in compliance with local requirements. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CAis: $167,800 - $311,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
