Summary High risk antepartum patients and float to L&D as needed based on census in both departmentsJob Description: Registered Nurse Antepartum- Full Time, Days Status: Full Time Shift: First *Rotating Weekend & Holiday Schedule* About The Unit: Antepartum is a ten-bed unit specializing caring for patients withcomplications during pregnancy which include pre-eclampsia, preterm labor,hyperemesis, and other medical issues requiring hospitalization. TheAntepartum unit is staffed with labor and delivery trained nurses. Nurses inthis unit must be willing to float to the Labor and Delivery unit and receiveorientation in both antepartum and labor and delivery. Job Summary: Registered nurse implements the nursing process for each assigned to his/her care regardless of age (i.e. infancy to geriatric) and is responsible for the patient's care. The registered nurse promotes positive patient outcomes and the delivery of quality patient care. The registered nurse collaborates with the inter-professional team to enhance patient outcomes. The registered nurse serves as a role model through actively participating in the process of continuous professional development and lifelong learning. Requirements:
