Cardiology Tech

The cardiographic technician assists in the acquisition of data, relative to age-specific needs, by performing EKG, SAE independently.

What You Will Do

• Performs duties related to the application and interpretation of Holter and Event Monitoring.
• Assists with clerical duties, billing and information.
• Assists with administration of Exercise/Pharmacologic stress testing.
• Consistently follows hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety.
• Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Maintains a responsibility for self-development with support for the learning environment of the Hospital and the department of Cardiology
• Collaborates effectively with co-workers and staff to ensure that assignments are completed in a professional and effective manner.
• Displays a commitment to Hospital mission and values
• Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
