Job Summary This University New Grad role is in Richardson, TX or Chicago, ILThis role will participate in an Analytics Consultant Program in the health care payer space which spans over 12-months and is designed to advance skills in strategic planning, communication, and leadership. In this role you will gain hands-on experience supporting high profile strategic projects that are tackling key business priorities across multiple lines of business and functional areas, including Value Based Care (VBC), Network Business Solutions (NBS) and Individual and Family Markets (IFM). This role will be responsible for producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools, performing research, and assisting in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies. This role will analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers and identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. This role is also responsible for constructing forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge and creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
