Job Summary This University New Grad role is in Richardson, TX or Chicago, IL

This role will participate in an Analytics Consultant Program in the health care payer space which spans over 12-months and is designed to advance skills in strategic planning, communication, and leadership. In this role you will gain hands-on experience supporting high profile strategic projects that are tackling key business priorities across multiple lines of business and functional areas, including Value Based Care (VBC), Network Business Solutions (NBS) and Individual and Family Markets (IFM).

This role will be responsible for producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools, performing research, and assisting in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies. This role will analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers and identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

This role is also responsible for constructing forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge and creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in health information management, public health, healthcare administration, epidemiology, industrial engineering, data science, statistics, or business administration; with an interest in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy. Other degrees may be considered.
  • Graduation date between December 2025 - June 2026
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. (Currently, we are not offering this program under OPT or CPT or sponsoring work visas for these roles)
  • Preferred: Knowledge or experience working with Teradata SQL and Tableau
  • Experience working in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Ability to think analytically using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Ability to operate under a moderate level of guidance and direction.
  • Recognizes and interprets the information problem; establishes a plan of search; conducts the search; evaluates the results, and if necessary, iterates through the process again.
  • Accomplishes a task through concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small; monitors and checks work or information and plans and organizes time and resources efficiently.
  • Understands agendas and perspectives of others, recognizing and effectively balancing the interests and needs of one's own group with those of the broader organization.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plansubject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Base Pay Range$60,300.00 - $133,400.00
