Job Overview: The Tennessee Department of Health is seeking a Health-Related Boards Investigator (HRBI) to serve as a field investigator for the Health-Related Boards in the Office of Investigations. The duty for this position involves investigating complaint allegations, collecting pertinent evidence, and preparing concise reports detailing the investigative findings. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in criminal justice or related field with at least five years of full-time investigative experience conducting healthcare investigations, OR A bachelor's degree in nursing and experience equivalent to three years of full-time, increasingly responsible professional nursing. Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying full-time experience in nursing or healthcare investigations may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of two years. Substitution of Graduate Education for Experience: Additional graduate coursework in nursing or healthcare investigations may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, up to a maximum of one year.
