This is a high-impact role with direct visibility to executive leadership, offering the opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a company by making a meaningful impact on people's lives.

Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, consolidations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets and technical accounting.

  • Process Excellence: Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and automation to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Own SOX compliance, maintaining a robust internal control environment, partnering with internal audit and external auditors.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Business Partnership: Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, legal, and operations to provide insights and support strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, public-company environment. You bring not only technical excellence but also business acumen, leadership presence, and the ability to inspire and influence.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, MACC or MBA preferred; CPA required.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership roles within public companies.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance.
  • Strong technical accounting foundation, ideally with prior experience in Big 4 or national public accounting.
  • Track record of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with executive leadership, Board, and external stakeholders.
  • Systems savvy with experience driving automation and ERP optimization. Experience with Oracle Fusion a plus.
