What the job involves:

We are currently seeking an Engineering Services Intern to join our Property Management team. In this role, you will learn the fundamentals of building operations, mechanical systems maintenance, and facility management while supporting our engineering team at a 531,000 square foot Class A office building in downtown Minneapolis. Tenants include banks, trading centers, equity firms, as well as other parcels within the core and shell of the property.

As an Engineering Services Intern at JLL, you will:

• Assist with basic maintenance tasks including painting, pressure washing, lighting system maintenance, and general facility upkeep under supervision

• Support the implementation of preventative maintenance programs and learn industry best practices

• Help maintain the work order system (CMMS) and assist with tenant service requests

• Complete provided training aimed at expanding your knowledge of building systems and engineering processes

• Shadow experienced engineers during troubleshooting of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and Fire/Life safety systems

• Learn about building automation systems and energy management

• Assist with inventory management and equipment documentation

• Support compliance with safety procedures and learn safety protocols

• Participate in tenant move-in/move-out processes from an engineering perspective

• Other projects and learning opportunities as assigned

Estimated compensation for this position:

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
