National Grid Partners (Menlo Park, CA)

National Grid Partners launched in 2018 as the corporate venture and innovation arm of National Grid. The NextGrid Alliance (NGA), led by National Grid Partners, is an international network of utility peers, bringing together more than 150 utilities globally to address the industry's most urgent challenges through collaboration and collective innovation. This team focuses on creating and executing programs that promote the adoption of new technologies, link utilities with startups, and cultivate partnerships that increase the pace and effectiveness of innovation. The NGA is essential in advancing National Grid's mission to provide clean, affordable, and reliable energy by enabling the utility sector to respond to the needs of grid modernization, electrification, and decarbonization.

As a Gridtern, you will play a key role in delivering NGA's core programs by helping to coordinate events and workshops, including planning for the NGA Summit and organizing Working Group sessions. You will conduct research on emerging utility technologies and market trends, developing a comprehensive market map of external technology solutions that align with priority NGA themes. Additionally, you will assist in managing NGA's LinkedIn community by generating content ideas and drafting posts.
