Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE: We are seeking a creative and motivated intern to support marketing communications across all Applied Markets customer segments, including public health, agri/food testing, environmental monitoring, and animal health. This role emphasizes customer engagement through content creation, campaign execution, and storytelling that resonates with diverse audiences. The intern will gain hands-on experience developing multi-channel campaigns, creating communications assets, and supporting brand consistency to connect with customers and partners across applied markets. CORE DUTIES: 1. Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, and social media) across Applied Markets. 2. Create engaging marketing content, including blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and promotional collateral tailored to customer needs. 3. Collaborate with Marketing Services on graphics, videos, and other visual communication tools. 4. Help manage campaign calendars, track deliverables, and coordinate execution. 5. Measure and report campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for stronger customer engagement. 6. Update and maintain marketing assets to ensure alignment with brand standards and segment-specific messaging. 7. Partner with internal stakeholders from SPM, SBU, and Marketing Services to support communications strategies for customer engagement, events, and partnerships. 8. Understands and complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or related field. 2. Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills with attention to detail. 3. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools. 4. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools. 2. Prior experience in content creation or campaign management. 3. Interest in scientific communication or the life sciences industry. Familiarity with pharma/biotech animal health, biotechnology or diagnostics markets PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to use a computer for extended periods and utilize Microsoft Office applications. 2. Ability to move within the office and attend meetings in different locations as required. 3.
