Sr. Director, Wholesale Sales

Location: Miami - Doral, FL (Hybrid Schedule)

Lead the Future of Wholesale Fuel Sales in North America

World Kinect is seeking a visionary Sr. Director, Wholesale Sales to lead the development and execution of our national wholesale sales strategy across the North America Land Fuel business. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving gross profit, building a high-performing sales organization, and shaping the future of our wholesale platform.

You'll be at the forefront of market expansion, strategic partnerships, and commercial innovation-delivering results that directly impact the bottom line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Build and execute a national wholesale sales strategy aligned with business goals and market dynamics.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of evolving customer needs, competitive threats, and pricing trends to ensure agility and relevance.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and manage a robust national sales pipeline. Identify and pursue new market opportunities with a focus on sustainable growth.
  • Executive Sales Management: Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Drive accountability, performance, and engagement through structured coaching and feedback.
  • Customer Engagement: Oversee key account relationships and ensure delivery of tailored, value-driven solutions. Champion cross-selling across WFS product lines.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure sales activities are aligned with financial targets, CRM best practices, and expense management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Supply, Credit, Operations, and Marketing to deliver seamless customer experiences and scalable solution.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of progressive leadership in wholesale sales or business development
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of fuel pricing, risk management, and third-party logistics
  • Strong executive presence and a well-established network in the wholesale fuel industry
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and forecasting tools
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
