The Construction & Manufacturing Team supports all of Haskell's delivery groups across the company and the projects throughout the United States. The Construction & Manufacturing Team is responsible for providing the field management personnel, from the craft worker to the Project Superintendent. The Construction & Manufacturing Team also provides the team member with logistical support; including but not limited to establishing per diem rates, company trucks for superintendents, and the coordination of arrival for team members as needed on the project. The Construction & Manufacturing Team provides continual training for our team members to support their development from entry-level craft workers, via in-house/online courses, to local jurisdiction apprenticeship programs. Haskell assists with working your way up through the ranks, you'll find new ways to use both your mind and your hands to get the job done.

Joining our Construction & Manufacturing Team will enable you to build the buildings on which people depend; collaborating with your team to overcome obstacles and fix problems on the job site using your skills. Strong networks are formed on construction projects because everyone on the team depends on each and every team member to get the job done.

In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain construction project schedules. You will plan and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure the established goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame. You should have proficiency and a working knowledge of Primavera/P6, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), CPM scheduling (Critical Path Methods), Resource Loading, Delay Analysis, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

    Demonstrate full competency in the system scheduling tools and scheduling best practices.
  • Manage scheduling and planning efforts including scheduling processes during the project development and execution. Manage schedule programs as required.
  • Comprehends fully and proactively foresees the impacts of all contractual and project requirements and is able to apply and communicate them to the project schedules and processes as necessary.
  • Develop, champion, and ensure schedule data integrity efforts in accordance with best practices and company standards.
  • Enhance and standardize the process of producing and distributing tailored schedule reporting to meet the project team's needs that effectively communicates issues, status, health, and progress of the execution plan.
  • Optimize communication efforts regarding the schedule to project teams, subcontract partners, clients, and internal leadership.
  • Enhance the scheduling cycle to develop Haskell Policy, including but not limited to actualizing and updating, reports, narratives, time impact analysis, and fragnet schedules.
  • Demonstrates expertise in change impact management and is able to support and guide project teams as changes arise.
  • Enhance, apply and effectively utilize resource loading as necessary.
  • Produce, analyze, and distill schedule data with full competency and understanding, and lead initiatives optimizing the utilization of schedule data.
  • Develop and apply risk management best practices with schedule data and be able to proactively report findings to the project teams.
  • Manage training in scheduling best practices, processes, and tools.
  • Responsible for group schedule integrity, quality, and best practices as necessary.
  • Manages project scheduling teams and scheduling programs.
  • Travel, as necessary, to lead and support scheduling efforts
  • Engage in industry events and conferences.
  • Spearhead continual improvement of scheduling practices and processes.
  • Other duties which may be assigned as needed.
  • Supervises others.

Education/Experience:

  • Four-year degree in engineering or construction management, 10 years of scheduling or construction management experience, with a minimum of 8 years directly related to scheduling.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:

  • Experience in a commercial contracting environment preferred.
  • Expertise in Primavera scheduling software including cost/resource loading and analysis.
  • Proficient analytic ability with excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Ability to organize and manage complex tasks, establish and meet schedules and maintain focus on goals.
  • Expertise in industry planning and scheduling practices and construction method

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
