Job Title: Colleague Finance Consultant - Functional
Location: New York, NY
Summary:


  • Client is seeking an experienced Banner Student Consultant to join our Managed Services team.
  • This role leads services for our integrated administrative solutions for colleges and universities, supporting configuration, conversion, implementation, testing, and deployment of Banner Student solutions.
  • Key focus areas include Person Record Management, Catalog and Curriculum design, Registration, Self-Service operations for Students and Faculty, and Student Life.
  • Knowledge of Enrollment cycles, Accounts Receivable, and Business Office Operations is highly valued. In this mission-critical role, you will partner with higher education customers to support their transformation to modern campuses and cloud/SaaS solutions, ensuring successful adoption and student success.




Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver high-quality services with adaptability to evolving technologies and methodologies.
  • Bridge functional and technical aspects of client solutions to meet client business objectives.
  • Lead performance improvement and modernization efforts, ensuring successful SaaS implementations.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services teams to improve processes and promote best practices.
  • Achieve success through customer satisfaction, project goal attainment, and utilization targets.



Skills Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of Banner experience including implementation and deployment in key modules.
  • Willingness to expand knowledge across other client solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and root cause analysis using creativity and critical thinking.
  • Effective prioritization and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to client values and service excellence.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Experience with consortium or system-wide models and state regulations (CA, TX, FL, NY) is a plus.
  • Functional experience with Colleague modules including Core, Finance, Financial Aid, HR, Payroll, and Reporting tools.
  • Experience with client Recruit, Self-Service, Ethos Integration, Elevate, and Colleague.
