Job Title: Banner Finance Consultant
Location: New York
Summary:


  • Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Banner Finance Consultant to join our Managed Services team.
  • In this role, you will lead the implementation of administrative solutions for colleges and universities, consulting with customers and delivering services that accelerate institutional success.
  • You will support training, onboarding, and deployment of Banner financial processes, helping higher education institutions transform into modern campuses.




Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as a thought leader and key contributor to Banner Finance implementations.
  • Provide guidance on industry best practices for implementing Banner Finance.
  • Support transitions from legacy finance systems to Banner Finance, including change management.
  • Conduct business process reviews and document client requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to maximize value from Banner Finance and other Client solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement of consulting practices and delivery materials.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-departmental initiatives across Client.


Skills Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting within higher education.
  • 3 years of experience in training or consulting roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Banner Finance.
  • Strong communication skills to support diverse customer needs.
  • Self-starter with enthusiasm and adaptability.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective collaboration skills within large teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
