We are currently hiring Physicians to serve at correctional facilities in Deerfield and Sussex, Virginia. This opportunity allows you to provide essential medical care to an underserved population within a secure and structured setting.

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Physicians (MD or DO) to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to incarcerated individuals. In this role, you will conduct patient assessments, manage treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal health outcomes. • Perform comprehensive medical assessments and physical exams

• Diagnose illnesses and injuries based on patient history, exams, and diagnostic tests

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications

• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care

• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care

• Refer patients to specialists when necessary

• Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility standards using EHR systems

• Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives

• Adhere to correctional healthcare policies and safety protocols

• Active and unrestricted Virginia Medical License (MD or DO) - Required

• Proven experience in clinical diagnosis and independent patient care

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems

• Willingness to work in a correctional facility setting
