Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Security Technology (IC)

The Enterprise Security Product Management team is responsible for setting the vision and strategy and working with our engineering team to build and deploy the capabilities Salesforce needs to keep our enterprise secure. We work closely with our development team, enterprise risk management, business unit leaders, and all employees at Salesforce taking a strategic approach to maintaining Trust!

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for Enterprise Security Technology to lead the product strategy and roadmap for key parts of our overall solution stack and work with engineering to deliver solutions that reduce risk for Salesforce. This person will be part of the enterprise security PM team at Salesforce, helping deliver Enterprise Security Technology solutions for Salesforce. This role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and IAM, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of building and deploying successful security solutions within a large enterprise.

Your Impact - Responsibilities:

  • Vision, Strategy, & Roadmap - You help set strategic vision with executive management and the roadmaps needed to get there.

  • Customers, Partners, and Collaborators - You will engage with customers, partners, and internal collaborators to resolve business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic goals.

  • Planning, Delivery, and Execution - Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering and operations peers to deliver both strategic and tactical plans and objectives. You are hands-on and involved in getting results delivered.

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback sessions to identify new opportunities and make build vs buy recommendations.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery.

  • Represent your area as a subject matter expert with our internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on product performance and progress to senior leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree desirable.

  • 8+ years of experience in technical product management or a related role.

  • Deep expertise in various cybersecurity domains, especially IAM, but ideally including network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and data protection.

  • Proven ability to define and deliver successful product strategies and roadmaps.

  • Demonstrated experience in defining technical product requirements into an actionable product roadmap. Experience working and delivering product or services in an agile/lean environment.

  • Strong understanding of agile product development methodologies.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Identity protocols and standards (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, FIDO, etc.)

  • Access control models (RBAC, PBAC, Zero Trust, Least Privilege, JIT, PAM)

  • Authentication / MFA strategies (FIDO2, Phishing resistant MFA, device identity, non-human identity)

  • Identity lifecycle management (JML, reviews, provisioning/deprovisioning)

  • Application onboarding and M&A integration experience

  • Agile Methodology and Scrum Product Owner experience

  • Working knowledge of leading 3'rd party identity vendor solutions such as Okta, SailPoint, Zscaler, CyberArk, Palo Alto, Proofpoint and Crowdstrike

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $184,000 to $253,000. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $200,800 to $276,100.
