Job Description A growing team is seeking 2 Installation Technicians and 8 Cable Technicians for projects based in Ames, Des Moines, IA, and surrounding states. Some travel is required, with per diem provided for travel days. Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience working with low-voltage systems. Those with hands-on training or technical school experience will also be considered. Technicians will be responsible for: * Installing data racks, cabinets, Cat6 and COAX cables, faceplates * Testing and labeling cable runs * Setting up DirecTV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes in individual rooms * Assisting in building out server closets for network infrastructure * Performing work both inside and outside of school and apartment buildings * Occasionally digging trenches and assisting with directional drilling Technicians will receive direction from project leads and are expected to follow instructions closely.
