The Clinical Trials Operations Leader will serve as the leader of research operations within the New York market. The Leader will work closely with the Executive Director of OCRI, and the Physician director of Translational Research, as well as local leadership to deliver a flexible, efficient, and compliant delivery method of clinical trails to the organization through cross collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the successful development and execution of the clinical trial service line
  • Oversee and execute all phases of business development, marketing strategy, cross business unit alignment, internal and external brand development, financial modeling and reaching targets for study activation and revenue
  • Assist Executive Director of Research in strategic planning, resourcing, and operation of trials within the New York market
  • Oversee selection and start-up of appropriate trials
  • Recruit, train, and manage cross functional team members in the development of the research program including but not limited to research and regulatory coordinators
  • Coordinate with the OCRI Regulatory team the monitoring and oversight for the conduct of remote clinical trial visits, site initiations, and study closeouts with customer representatives
  • Participate in business development efforts including proposal and budget development
  • Help with development and maintenance of applicable SOPs, plans and policies related to DCTs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the clinical research industry, including a minimum of 5 years in a clinical operations or business development role
  • Experience with market analysis and building stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of ICH GCP, US CFR, and HIPAA regulations
  • Tech savvy with the skills and ability to apply new systems to everyday tasks
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid leadership skills with proven ability to lead internal and external teams
  • Ability to work independently and make appropriate strategic decisions to operationalize and move clinical trial projects forward
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and resources, meet deadlines, and be adaptable to changing priorities

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
