Job Description
At Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, ensuring the safety and well-being of our Colleagues, guests and visitors is an integral part of our operations. As anHVAC technician your attentiveness, efficiency and commitment will ensure your hotel remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Operations, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Ensure the overall maintenance of the facility
- Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding in cases of fire, accident, safety concerns and calls for medical assistance
- Maintain and service refrigeration & HVAC equipment for facility
- Correct and report any fire hazards or health and safety hazards
- Maintain all actions in a daily activity maintenance log
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- EPA certifications required
- Previous experience in a maintenance role required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications not required but helpful
- Must have electrical, plumbing and basic maintenance skills
- Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
