Food Service Aide - Russellton, PA

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified food handler through the Department of Health - ServSafe Certification (or currently in the process of being certified) required.
• One year of cooking experience is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• All Clearances required by OMHSAS.

Position Details

Our Residential Cook will prepare all meals in accordance with the LTSR Resident Daily Schedule, prepare grocery shopping lists through routine inventory, and will utilize community and LTSR provided venders to purchase food items in a cost effective and efficient manner. The Cook will conduct food preparation for unscheduled workdays, pack, dispose of, and store food properly according to policy and regulatory guidelines. They will demonstrate knowledge and experience in quantity food production and preparation. Our Cook will engage in proper cleaning and sanitation of work area and safe food handling techniques, and demonstrate an ability to interact with residents who have mental illness.
