Description CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) is a 150-bed hospital serving the fastest-growing area of San Antonio. Specialized care includes orthopedic and surgical services, ICU, women's services, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heart surgery, vascular lab, sleep center, emergency services, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, and more. The campus also boasts an Outpatient Imaging Center and three medical plazas, one of which houses our CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center. Acute Telemetry is a 30-bed unit that consists of a dynamic team. Summary: Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being. Responsibilities: Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake. Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors. Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds. Job Requirements: Education/Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Experience in a hospital setting preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS required. Work Schedule: 7AM - 7PM Work Type: Full Time
